The previous approach to diesel conversion was to totally replace diesel with lpg. This did not work very well. We are actively looking into
alternative lpg adaptions for diesel engines. Once we have trailed a successful method we will be rolling it out.

3). Why should I convert ?
There are many reasons why you should have your vehicle converted to run on LPG some of which are listed below.
4). My car has engine warranty does installing an LPG kit void this warranty ?
Car manufacturers provide cars which run on LPG so voiding the warranty is not because of the technology. Our LPG kits are a proven technology. If installing the LPG kit voids your engine warranty, you can purchase
engine warranty cover backed by leading insurance companies. Only LPGA authorised installers like ourselves are recognised by these insurance companies.

5). Is LPG safe to use as a road fuel ?
LPG has been used as a fuel in millions of vehicles all over the world. In the UK there are over 100,000 cars running on LPG. LPG is a safe fuel that is as safe as petrol if not more so for the following reasons :-
6). Why should I use your company to convert my car ?
There are a number of reasons why we think we are the right company to convert your car.
7). I have heard that LPG systems causes problems like backfiring does your system suffer from these types of issues ?
The older single point injection system (which we do not sell) due to its design had problems such as backfire and performance issues. We only use ALDESA RSI (Real sequential injection) system which does not suffer from backfire problems.
Furthermore ALDESA RSI is computer controlled with the gas injectors as close as possble to the petrol injectors. The RSI system makes sure that LPG is injected into the engine only during the aspiration (firing) phase. The air intake manifold is always gas empty, therefore you have no backfiring risks, the highest efficiency and the minimum consumption. Finally due to the fact that the gas injectors mirror the petrol injectors there are no problems with performance.

8). How long does the conversion process take?

9). Will I lose boot space ?
We stock a large selection of tanks. We stock donut type tanks that replace the spare tyre. In this case you would not lose boot space. However we have a superb tyre sealant product which we offer to customers. When this sealant is used there is no need to keep a spare tyre in the vehicle. It makes no sense to fit a donut tank and then keep the spare well in the boot.

10). Can I transfer my LPG system to another car ?
We can remove our LPG system and install it into another car you provide. We would charge for the work and issue a certificate of conformity which your insurance company and DVLA would need to see.

11). How will my car's performance be affected ?
Our RSI kits are the lastest state of the art Multi Sequential Injection systems. Older systems suffered from power issues at higher rpms and when under load. Our Real Multi Sequential Injection LPG system is unique in the market due to the fact that the injectors behave as closely as possible when compared to the cars petrol injectors. This means that our kits have power as well as economy at vital times such as when the car is under load, or at higher end of the rpm range. Your car should not experience any noticable difference when running on LPG.

12). Is LPG widely available ? and what happens when I run out of LPG.
LPG is widely available in the UK. Currently LPG is available at over 1200 stations. All the major petrol retailers such as BP, Texaco aswell as the supermarkets retail LPG. I new LPG station is being added per day. Our system automatically monitor the LPG available in the tank. When the LPG is running low the system will automatically switch to petrol and therefore not allow your car to run "lean" on gas which can damage your car.

13). How do I know when the car needs to be refilled with LPG?
The car will have a fuel indicator for LPG just as in the case for petrol. This lpg fuel indicator is fitted to the dashboard of the car in a postion clearly visible to the driver. The indicator consits of a row of leds that show the current level of gas in the tank. Another red light warns that the car is running on petrol. A green light shows that the car is running on LPG. A button on the indicator allows the driver to manually switch between petrol and LPG.

14).Is it possible to fill the tank with the wrong type of fuel ?
