Become An Installer

There are over 140,000 vehicles running on LPG in the UK. The vast majority of these run on the older single point type LPG kits. These were hard to fit and caused problems such as "backfire". Furthermore the systems would require frequent adjustments to ensure that the vehicle ran correctly on LPG. Customers would forget to go back to the installer and the installer would be blamed.

Customers who are looking to install LPG systems to their vehicles that are 2001 and newer. These vehicles must be fitted with multi sequencial injection systems. In 2002 2.54 million new cars were registered in the UK, Of those 602,623 were powered by diesel *.

This left 1.9 million cars that could be converted to run on LPG. These figures are for 2002 alone, obviously the market is huge. Here at Autolpg we are the UK Sole distributor of ALDESA LPG Kits. These are the state of the art system that is much better than competing systems in the following ways.

AUTOLPG Systemcompetitor systems
No backfire issues. Our kits use RSI injectors. These are the closest LPG injectors to Petrol injectors on the market. This means that when the car is running on LPG there is very little performance degradation, especially under load and at the higher RPM range. This is one of the biggest complaints with the older single point injection system. They would have no power when the car most needed it. Do not use RSI injectors. They inject gas on the exhaust phase and are therefore less efficient.
The most efficient and the easiest system to install. The kit self-adjusting and doesn't require any configuration, being automatically suitable and ready for any car, including TURBOS assisted ones. Unlike competing systems that require an ecu specially designed for each vehicle or they need to be configured using complex software on a PC
Just one system suitable for any vehicle without additional modification. In addition to different software versions for the ECU, you may also need different nozzles
To set up the system all you have to do is to regulate the adjustor on the reducer. It's often necessary to use bench equipment to program the system, or for two people to drive the vehicle and use a portable PC
Our system's REAL SEQUENTIAL INJECTION means that injection occurs in the same way as in the petrol system and, above all, during the aspiration phase of the engine only. Competiting systems due to the insufficient capacity of their injectors it may be necessary to increase the injection time up to 15 or 20 times that of the original petrol injectors. This can result in a performance similar to a continuous system rather than a sequential one

We offer a thorough training program. We will also advise you on how to become LPGA approved.

Unlike other trainers we will not just hand out books and hope you can teach yourself.. We will show you how and where each component is fitted to a vehicle.

The process starts by us meeting and agreeing that becoming an LPG installer is for you. Once we see commitment from you we will provide training material to you. You will have to learn this material before you come to be trained with us.

We offer a full "hands on" training program for those that are new to the industry. We are the only trainer in the UK that offers "hands on" training that takes a candidate starting with a "health check" of a vehicle to find out if a vehicle is ready for an LPG installation.
You will at the end of the training know how to install properly and safely.

Unlike other trainers and distributors we take an active role in marketing your business. We have a unique marketing strategy which we will share with you once you become a member of our installer base.
